N Seoul Tower tickets at a glance
The observatory ticket is the one you need for the viewing floors of the tower. Visitors from 13 years pay 29,000 KRW. Children aged 3 to 12 and visitors from 65 pay 23,000 KRW. These are the figures on the operator's tariff page, which carries no date. Some guides still quote 16,000 and 12,000 KRW from a city guide of 2023, and those prices are out of date. Tickets from a reseller can differ from the counter price, so compare what each product includes.
The cable car is not part of this ticket. It is sold at its own counter at the lower station, and the tariff is on the Namsan cable car page. Calculate the two separately, even when a reseller offers them in one product.

Our picks: observatory tickets
Our take: the combo ticket covers the cable car and the observatory in one pick-up, the entry ticket is enough if you already have a way up, and the morning tour adds sights around the tower. Check the observatory's current operating status before you go.

Observatory ticket prices 2026
Who pays what at the operator's counter.
Adults and children from 13 years pay 29,000 KRW. Children aged 3 to 12 and senior visitors from 65 years pay 23,000 KRW. Children under 36 months enter without a ticket, limited to one toddler per accompanying person. The operator's Korean tariff page lists a 30 percent reduction, but only for certain Korean categories such as disability and veteran status, and group or package tickets are excluded. Do not count on a foreign disability card being accepted. Compare prices only between products that contain the same items.
Combo with the cable car
The operator sells the cable car and the observatory separately, and the cable car costs 15,000 KRW for an adult return ticket or 12,000 KRW one way. Resellers offer combined products. One combo in the list includes the observatory admission and a round-trip cable car ticket. For this product, physical tickets are picked up in Myeongdong before you go up, and the voucher on its own is not valid at the gate. The product is valid on the date you choose, with no stated visit length. Another ticket in the list covers only the observatory and leaves out the cable car. A morning tour with the observatory admission among its inclusions is another option for visitors who want a guide.
Buying on the day
The operator's Korean FAQ allows you to buy and visit the observatory on the same day without a separate reservation. Tickets are sold at the counter on Tower 1F, and ticket machines stand on 5F. Capacity can vary through the day, so this page makes no promise about waiting times.
Discover Seoul Pass
The city's Discover Seoul Pass lists the observatory in an example for the 72-hour pass: the regular price is 29,000 KRW and entry is free with the pass, one entry per attraction. At the counter you exchange a QR code for an entry ticket. The pass page notes that partner benefits change, so do not assume every pass variant includes it. See also the tours page if you prefer a guide.
Free observatory entry with an n.GRILL reservation
Guests with a reservation at the French restaurant n.GRILL on Tower 7F receive free observatory tickets, according to the operator. The restaurant is covered on the evening page. The restaurant THE PLACE Dining on 2F can be reached without an observatory ticket.
Is the observatory open?
On 31 October 2026 the operator's English homepage showed a banner reading "OBSERVATORY TEMPORARILY CLOSED", without any dates. The regular hours on the opening hours page are a schedule and no guarantee for the day. Check the current operating status before you travel and before you buy any observatory ticket, whether at the counter or from a reseller.
